We are pleased to announce that the winner for the month of January 2024 is Paul Brookes.
I would like to nominate Paul Brookes for team member of the month for January 2024.
Paul has worked at Aspen House, 55 Daventry Road for eight months now and has been a great asset to the home. Paul has positive relationships with all the service users and staff team. Paul has a positive and enthusiastic attitude and is always prepared to take or tasks of a challenging nature.
Paul will nominate himself daily to complete the cooking and makes the best Lasagne. Paul is enthusiastic and has brought new activities to the service users. Paul will always go above and beyond for the service users, he is supporting one of our service users to move house, which has been quite challenging, but Paul has remained positive and has ensured it has been a pleasurable experience for the service user. Also, in December one of the service user was unable to go home for Christmas for the first time and Paul supported him through this difficult situation ensuring that the service user had an enjoyable and happy time in Aspen with his other friends.
Paul is always responsive to the service users’ needs and remains calm in very challenging situations. We as a team consider ourselves very lucky to work with Paul as he is always a pleasure to be around. Paul also has a calming effect on the service users and they all request on a daily basis to be supported by him throughout the day. Paul has made a difference to Aspen, and it is a pleasure to have him as part of our team.
